LEARN ABOUT THE DIVISIONS
Technical Division
Get in touch with the car, focuses on the engineering, design, and development aspects of the project.
- Design, optimize, and maintain the engine system for efficiency and performance.
- Conduct tests to ensure reliability, durability, and compliance with competition regulations.
- Collaborate with electrical and chassis teams to integrate engine systems seamlessly.
- Research and implement advancements in fuel or energy efficiency technologies.
- Develop and maintain the vehicle’s electrical systems, including wiring, battery, and sensors.
- Design and implement energy management systems to monitor performance.
- Ensure integration of electronic components with other technical systems, such as ESCs, telemetry, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues during testing and competitions.
- Design and fabricate the vehicle’s structural framework and aerodynamic body.
- Perform simulations and tests to optimize strength, weight, and drag efficiency.
- Select and apply materials that meet safety and performance standards.
- Work closely with other technical teams to ensure mechanical compatibility.
Non-technical Division
The backbone of team operations, ensuring sustainability, visibility, and professionalism in all endeavors.
- Manage the team’s budget, including expense tracking and financial reporting.
- Secure funding through sponsorships, grants, or fundraising activities.
- Negotiate and coordinate with sponsors to ensure resource availability.
- Prepare financial proposals and oversee expenditure compliance.
- Handle team administration, including meeting schedules, minutes, and documentation.
- Maintain records of team activities, correspondences, and memberships.
- Ensure smooth internal communication between divisions.
- Oversee adherence to deadlines and competition requirements.
- Design visual assets like banners, teamwear, and social media graphics.
- Manage content creation, including photography, videography, and promotional materials.
- Maintain the team’s branding consistency across platforms and events.
- Collaborate with Public Relations to produce engaging sponsor and competition content.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and media outlets.
- Manage external communications, including social media and press releases.
- Represent the team at public events, competitions, and networking opportunities.
- Promote the team’s achievements and activities to boost visibility and credibility.
